Disclaimer

This program is most effective for professionals who already have an established practice or context and a base of clients or participants with whom they can immediately apply and integrate the material.

To clarify, this training does not teach you how to facilitate, but instead provides advanced tools, resources, and practices designed to elevate your existing practice and business, including the principles of being trauma-informed.

It is important to distinguish that being “trauma-informed” is not the same as being “trauma-trained.” We do not offer therapeutic skills for resolving trauma. Instead, we equip you with the knowledge to create a holistic, trauma-sensitive business environment. This approach acknowledges trauma from its roots and seeks to proactively foster spaces that are less likely to re-traumatize or trigger. In the event that a client or participant does experience a trauma response, a trauma-informed practitioner will have the awareness to recognize the signs and support individuals in returning to a state of safety and regulation.

If you do not currently have an existing practice or are not already working with clients, whether one-on-one or in groups, this training may not be recommended for you, as the integration of the material may not occur under optimal conditions for successful comprehension.

If you decide to apply to this program and are new to this profession or approach, please be aware that you will need to simultaneously cultivate a professional context to support your learning and integration throughout the duration of the training.

Program results: You are fully responsible for your results in this training program. While we are absolutely convinced that you will derive great benefits from this program, we cannot guarantee that you will attain a certain level of professional skill as a result of this training program. As with any professional training, each facilitator’s success depends on many factors, including your personal motivation, time commitment, how effectively you implement the training material, and your ability to respond to the needs of your groups.. The cost of this program is an investment in yourself as a facilitator, and, as with any investment, there is both great potential for a great return on your investment, and a risk there is no return on your investment.

If you have constructive feedback or suggestions for the team (Catherine & Rachel, or any member of their team) you agree to email concerns to the team privately, and not post your feedback, suggestions or complaints publicly.

Communications/media: As part of your participation in this program, we will ask for your consent to to video record, audio record, photograph or otherwise capture your likeness, voice, images, interviews, and statements made.

Termination: We shall be entitled to terminate these terms and conditions and cease to provide you with any Services with immediate effect in the event that you:

  1. fail to pay when due your Fees;
  2. act in an aggressive, racist, misogynistic, bullying, offensive, threatening or harassing manner towards any employee of Catherine Hale & Rachel Rickards, any teacher or lecturer who provides the training or any student who attends the training;
  3. cheat or plagiarise any work which you are required to prepare or submit in connection with the training or during any examination taken in connection with the training;
  4. are in breach of these terms and conditions.

Governing Law/Venue: This Agreement is subject to English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in connection with any dispute hereunder.

Grievance & Complaints

At The Field Facilitator Training and Culture of Care we aim to create a culture of care that respects and supports clear communication and consent. This means listening to and taking seriously all incidents that arise in the training space, including online, that cause harm.
We acknowledge that we are working in a culture with distortion around power, healing and trauma and by offering a training within this field it can bring up shadows within participants and the team. It is our intention to keep evolving as facilitators and holders of group spaces in order that we can all do and be better.

There are 2 stages to the grievance process, the first is informal and results in you receiving an acknowledgment email from Catherine, Rachel or one of their team members within 2 weeks of receiving your feedback through this form. If that is satisfactory the process stops there.
